Comment by The by far darkest place ingame must be Darrowshire, which lies within this great zone. You have to love how the darkness just tunes in around you as you approach the village. Darrowshire is the place of agony and suffering. Comment by Ok so i was on my 70 hunter today and i was at Tyr's hand and i happend to notice that they added the DK starting area. But i could not see the building so i was kinda disaponted.
What i saw almost made me! THe hold had people inside. They were all part of the Knights of the Ebon Blade. He is a Lvl? Boss with K Health, and is actually frendly with me! Just thought u guys might want to know :P. Comment by This zone now has the Deathknight Start Area in the far east. You can reach it currently by running through the elite mobs as a level 70 inside of Tyr's Hand. It's currently without population and you can see the large Black Citadel-esque building floating in the north end of the area.
By the looks of it, down on the shore, those of us intending to roll a deathknight, will have to face Murlocs at some point, by the presence of the little murloc huts familiar to other Murloc populated areas. Comment by Just a note about the Spectral Gryphon rides available from the Plaguewood Tower to the other towers appear to be broken. I just took a flight to the tower closest to the Lights Hope Chapel, and I was going so horrendously slow it wasn't even funny. I could've walked there faster I don't recall it being so slow last time I was here, but I may be wrong. Comment by s20mike Sadly, if you are not a Death Knight, it seems there is absolutely nothing to do East of Tyr's Hand. I was bored and went exploring around there today, just to see if I had missed anything, but there seems to be no NPC's, no mineral veins, nothing to do at all.

Comment by Thottbot When you move to the 'entrance' of quel'thalas sp? However, once you complete the kill 10 mobs bit, the built-in quest helper will point you in the right direction. Just in case: from the main entrance turn to the right. You don't want to go into any building, just keep going and it's at the end of the path near a wall. As you enter Tyr's Hand and clear the 10 mobs, ones you have cleared will respawn behind and around you. I found this out the hard way-as a hunter, I naturally try to kite the mobs and make sure I don't back into anything as I keep my distance.
To my surprise, as I was backing up, I ran into one I had already cleared! The respawn rate is really fast in this area-seems to be more common since Cata.
I died at least half a dozen times trying to get to the flare. The mobs come out of nowhere, they swarm you, their aggro range is huge. I finally got discouraged and just took the rez sickness and took a break, then abandoned it and did something else. The mobs do drop lots of silver, that's the only good thing about it. Only xp for this quest, not great for this level. You don't even get a crappy soulbound item.
Don't waste your time on this.
