Why do you like phineas and ferb

There is truly no other show like it, which at least partly explains why people still watch it today. Your email address will not be published. Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment. Please contact the developer of this form processor to improve this message.

Thanks for crafting such intelligent, witty entertainment that my whole family can enjoy. That is such a rare and precious thing. She cries when it goes to commercial! Doofenschmirtz read an article I wrote, too! I had given up on Disney because of all the Princess and Hannah Montana-type garbage they had been spewing.

However, Phineas and Ferb has completely restored my faith in Disney and what they are willing to show off to their viewers. Even though they are cartoons, the boys are great role models to kids today who think that it is a requirement to stay indoors and play video games all summer.

Kudos to the talented writers, actors and artists who work on this show. Thank you for realizing all of Disney viewers are not mindless consumers, and that we truly appreciate creativity and thought-provoking entertainment.

Hey, just wanna say how much I enjoyed this article, but I did want to elaborate on something. Though Swampy and I do write the majority of the songs in the show, we often have help from our very talented staff of writers many of whom are excellent songwriters as well. Martin Olson specifically has been involved in songs since the first season. Rob Hughes, Jon Barry and Bobby Gaylor have also had a hand in quite a few, as have many other story artists and writers. I just want to give credit where credit is due.

Doofenshmirtz actually read and replied to my article! That is one of the best things ever. Thank you for filling in the missing info. The songs are just ridiculously good. Hats off to the whole crew. And thanks for the fantastic show!

I just want to say as a geek dad that I seriously appreciate what you guys have done with Phineas and Ferb. Until we discovered it on Netflix I had just about lost faith in cartoons. It actually makes kids realize they can be smart and that anything is possible. Our 23 month old has almost every episode memorized and amazes us every day with how much more active her imagination is.

Wow this is so cool!! Reading that the first time I did not see the name, and I read it in no voice. I read it again and his voice, and I cannot tell you how funny that was. Well I just got into Star Trek, but I have to say it is pretty cool. Also I wish they would show more episodes on TV…. I have to watch Phineas and Ferb on Netflix.

A second example of more adult-oriented humor is an episode in which a running gag is the phrase "Well what do you know, Nostradamus was right. Almost every single episode will see the brothers construct, design, or plan some marvel of mechanical or social engineering, or both, their older sister Candace trying in vain to "bust" them by showing their mother these constructs, her mother inevitably failing to see the aforementioned projects usually as a result of the efforts made by Perry to thwart Dr.

Doofenshmirtz's "evil" plan of the day. The show tries to mix it up occasionally, but nine times out of ten this is what you will see to the letter. Another weakness in my opinion is the lack of notable character growth or development. Phineas changes slightly after the first few episodes to be less presumptuously confident, but beyond that the characters who appear on screen are more or less static throughout the show's entirety.

The final issue that I didn't even know was an issue was I have seen other parents disappointed that this show uses words such as "stupid" or "moron. Yes, this show commonly uses dialogue more akin to real-world conversations.

Does it have curse words? Does it use slurs? Does it display alcohol, cigarettes, cigars, drugs, or any other elicit substances? Does it have guns or firearms? Does it have sex? Does it have violence? Not really, no.

This shows creators envisioned a family-friendly, imaginative and witty television series and that is what they delivered.

If you wouldn't show your children Bugs Bunny then don't show them this show, but really this show displays a whole lot less questionable content than Looney Tunes. Now to confront the most common complaint I have seen on this site made by parents: lack of educational value. Now let me explain: no, this show is not Bill Nye The Science Guy or whatever little kids are watching currently to learn new things outside of the classroom.

This show is not a compliment to the classroom. That being said, it has far more educational value than anything else on TV I've seen recently. Here's a quick list of things I learned from Phineas and Ferb: how to jump-start a car, gladiators were roman and not greek, helium is the gas that causes a human's voice to rise in pitch, Mount Kilimanjaro actually has three peaks known as "Kibo", "Mawenzi", and "Shira", space is a cold vacuum devoid of oxygen, what a gyroscope is, who Nostradamus was, and that scientists recently discovered lunar water in significant quantities.

Now, I will absolutely admit that this show's primary purpose is not to teach, but to entertain. That being said, it does usually convey information tangentially related to the plot, e. Conclusion: In my opinion, Phineas and Ferb is a wonderfully imaginative, creative, humorous, and wholesome TV show that is a joy to watch for all ages.

Its titular characters inspire children to be inventive and think outside the box, the show routinely brings up the value and importance of family and friends, and you can never predict what will happen in the next episode. If I had children older than toddlers I would be more than happy to not only have them watching this but to also sit down and watch it with them. Will it educate them?

Probably not, but its entertainment value cannot be questioned and I can think of many, many shows that are a heck of a lot worse. I just remembered one my family's favorite lines from Dr. Doofenshmirtz: "I never built an amnesia-inator.

I think I would remember something like that. Adult Written by Lebron12James3 August 30, It is based on the comic strip and the second book in the Big Nate novel series. The book was released on October 19, It is aimed at children aged 8 to It was published by HarperCollins Publishers.

The book has a 13, sale rank. Adult Written by Showcritic September 3, Disney really rocked it on this one after 4 years in a row of underrated animated series. This title contains: Positive role models. Written by Anonymous August 11, Many others my age who grew up on this show still adore it to this day, and we all regard it as one of the best parts of our childhoods.

The relationship between Doofenshmirtz and Perry gets more entertaining as you age. This show is both culturally, humorously, and socially enriching. I honestly cannot believe anyone would rate it less than a 4, that must be more of an issue within yourself than with the show, which is, and always will be, a total masterpiece.

Adult Written by Ralo Rogue h May 22, The beat family friendly show Go watch it. Adult Written by T J March 22, We need more cartoons like this! This show is chalked full of imagination and creativity! Almost every episode tells the exact same story with the exact same subplots. The main story is whatever cool contraption Phineas and Ferb decide to build that day.

The first subplot revolves around Perry going on a secret mission to foil the evil plans of Dr. Both these subplots play out the exact same way almost every time. There are a few episodes and specials the break the status quo of the show by doing something slightly different.

The music is great. The songs are super catchy. The animation is bright and fluid in motion. And the characters designs are delightfully weird. Like how all the main characters heads are shaped like the first letter of their name.

I especially recommend this to artists and authors looking for inspiration. Adult Written by Ashley R. March 8, I wouldn't mind this I don't love this show like i used to when I was a kid but I don't hate it or mind it it's allright if there was nothing else better. Adult Written by J H December 31, Horrendous stereotyping Horrible language, the big kid is a bully, the one brown kid is tiny with a thick accent, the sister is a teenage ditz and is always the antagonist.
