How does virgin supertab

I e-mailed them about it, and they told me they have changed it since around March. Anyways, there is no benefit with going with SuperTab if you're using a smartphone.

I wouldn't say it's misleading. No carrier sells smart phones without data plans anyways. Super Tab, only makes sense for voice phones though since there is no ECF and paying off a cheapie phone is next to nothing compared to the smart phones.

All's right with the world. What use is a smartphone like an iphone or something without a data? To be nobody but yourself - in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting. Never understood this. Heatware eBay feedback RFD feedback!

When Koodo first came out, some RFD'ers and HoFo'ers did some calculations, and you would be stuck in a 5yr contract w. RFD is bad for your wallet's health. I know quite a few people with iPhones who don't have data-plans, they want everything from an iPod Touch but don't want to carry two separate devices with them. Plus iPhones have GPS recievers and certain GPS apps do not require data plans to work, so for them, an iPhone gives them a cellphone, iPod Touch and GPS all in one device, and they don't need mobile internet enough to justify paying for data.

Similar thing happening with Koodo. They have the tab for their Blackberry and when it first came out, there was no mention at all about a required data plan. But as of lately, that add on is required. Lots of people choose smartphones such as Blackberries for texting.

They have the best keypad without going for a slider or flip model. Others like being organized with the pda functions that come with it. Just knowing that you can choose to add or remove a data plan from one month to another can really make a difference. For example if you're going through a budget cut one month and don't want to spend extra on stuff you don't need, trimming your cell phone bill could be one of the first things.

Personally, I started this thread due to my mere disapproval against data plans. Justifying a data plan for myself doesn't seem like its worth it, seeing how I don't necessarily need to be connected all the time. Some people just seem to forget that their smartphones have the ability to make phone calls, even though they're practically carrying a mini-computer in their pockets. As of right now, I'm still interested in getting an iPhone 4, just without the data plan of course.

From what I've heard, there is a possibility of dropping the data plan by paying off a certain fee, though I'm not entirely sure how much that may be. Are you sure you wanna remove this phone from your cart? Are you sure you want to remove the phone from the cart? Plan and add ons will be removed. How does the SuperTab work? You can upgrade your phone at any time just by paying off your SuperTab balance. The balance will be used as a credit on your next phone bill. Say Hello Find a Store.
